PRIVACY POLICY GrandviewHeightsAlumni.com Grandview Heights High School Alumni Association strives to protect the privacy of all visitors to its Internet website www.grandviewheightsalumni.com. Private contact information such as name, address, phone and email addresses submitted to the website are not directly provided to any other commercial or non-commercial entity. Additionally, this data is not displayed for public view. It is collected and used solely by the Grandview Heights High School Alumni Association. Permitted use includes graduating class reunion planning, newsletter distribution and solicitation for donations to the Alumni Association. The site is not password protected and while the contact database and host server is deemed secure by generally accepted standards, the possibility exists that private information may be released unintentionally through unlawful activity and/or attacks on the server. The only personal information we collect is where the user has submitted the information specifically via a web-based form or email. Demographic information may be gathered by our server. Such content includes: country of origin, browser type, operating system type, etc. This information is used for statistical purposes. No information that can personally identify a visitor is gathered without the user's consent. Cookies are used in various areas of the web site to identify a returning visitor, and also to perform various tasks - such as passing information between pages. Any personal information submitted by the visitor will not be redistributed to 3rd parties, except where noted such as in a published class directory, or used for any other purpose than why it was originally submitted.
