| Comment: Since graduation I began my career in land surveying, starting on field crews in northern Minnesota on the Superior National Forest. I returned to Ohio in 1985 where I became a state licensed surveyor. I worked in the private sector for 23 years including owning my own surveying firm in the Kettering-Centerville Ohio area. I returned to federal surveying in 2009 as Forest Land Surveyor based in Lufkin, Texas and then Regional Land Surveyor based in Missoula, Montana and then Albuquerque, New Mexico. I retired in 2024 as the Chief Cadastral Surveyor, New Mexico State Office with the Bureau of Land Management where I supervised the Cadastral program overseeing surveys on federal interest lands. I still retain state professional licenses in Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Texas. | |
